Anyone else feeling the length of summer vacation? I’ve had a great summer with the kids, but this past week was a little intense with them starting to get on each other’s nerves and constantly telling on one another! I am ready for back-to-school routings to BEGIN! I figured out the issue at least…my intention of them having a down week before school started back-fired. I hope this realization will help those of you with kids who are feeling a little burned out by the end of summer. “Down” time did not work. I realized they need to have some sort of activity first thing in the morning. Whether they have a camp, a planned activity with me or a sitter, or a lesson of some sort. I figured this out by Friday! We went paddle boarding first thing in the morning and had such a great time. I was also able to have a little 1:1 time with each of them – with Ella sharing a paddle board with me, and swimming in the waves after with Jude. Energy was burned and hearts were full by the end…such a win-win on so many levels.
This week I decided to do something a little different and I’m sharing a motivational video instead. I love the concept of what it takes to achieve goals and dreams. I have noted some follow-up questions for you below along with the link to the video.
Where are you with your goals for 2017? Go curious instead of judgemental, and look at what is working and what isn’t, and why. You have time to course correct.
What do you want to achieve by the end of the year?
Who do you want to become by the end of the year?
What consistent action do you need to take to in order to make these goals and intentions happen?
What beliefs do you need to have?
Remember to stay flexible to allow the universe to also show you how to make your dreams happen, BUT take action on the way you can see now. Make time every day for these actions and watch how much momentum you will gain. You will also see more and more solutions and the way “how” (thank-you universe), to make these goals happen because of this magnetic energy you will be creating! YAY!!!
